Where and When

We will begin the journey in April 2005, allowing 8-10 months for the trip. The countries we intend to visit are listed on the left.

Who We Are

Malachy Harty is a professional photojournalist working with The Imokilly People newspaper as well as a qualified chef. He will bring to the trip his extensive World travel experience, skills as a photographer and journalist as well as an interest in ethnic foods and ecology.
Niamh O Riordan has an honours degree in music and sociology, a first class honours Hdip in computer science and a first class honours master’s degree in ebusiness and commerce. She brings to the trip knowledge of the people, cultures and musics of Africa as well as an understanding of contemporary African development work. She is also our Webmaster.
